Global agribusiness dream team land in Argentina for IFAMA’s summit

Buenos Aires, May 31th. Austral University will host the International Food and Agribusiness Management Association (IFAMA) world summit from June 23th to 27th, at Buenos Aires City. More than a hundred referents from public and private organizations, academic and scientific sectors around the world will converge at the meeting.

“There is a great schedule in this summit. Cases about grapes from Peru, dairy from Uruguay, farm equipment from Midwest, cash crops from SouthAfrica are part of the workshops and lectures”, says Mr. Bernardo Piazzardi from Food and Agribusiness Centre of Austral University.

Between the speakers, Carole Brookins, former CEO of World Perspectives, is one most prominent guests. Allan Gray from Purdue Univesity; Gustavo Grobocopatel from Los Grobo; Federico Trucco from Bioceres;  Nicola Shabolt from Fonterra, Alicia Ciciliani (Production Minister from Santa Fe Province) and Senator Esteban Bullrich are also keynotes speakers at the summit.

IFAMA’s world conference will start June 23th at Pilar Campus of Austral University. Papers and cases will be presented this day and June 24th. From June 25th to June 27th it will be runned the Industry Forum at Hilton Hotel at Buenos Aires City. The main conclusions of this Conference will be input for the G20 and B20 discussions also taking place in Argentina during the course of this year.

“From Food and Agribusiness Centre, our mission is to set up Argentina as a country leading global innitiatives, focused on to develop high added value foods, thinking in Argentina as the ‘world supermarket’”, said Ana Galiano, its dean.
